It’s one in all in this weekend, so be there nice and early to support 3rds, then 2nds and of course 1st grade in their do or die match.

The usual rules of finals apply – no photo ID, no play. It is imperative that you remember your photo ID on Saturday. We will also forward details of ground entry as they come to hand. There is usually a small gate fee for spectators.

10:45am: Colts kick off – - come down, grab a bacon and egg roll and watch our boys have a solid crack at making the semi’s

12:15pm: 4th Grade/5th Grade vs Golden Oldies – - this could be good…

12:55pm: 3rd Grade kick off – - Hopefully one more win to make that minor premiership all the more sweeter

2:00pm: 2nd Grade kick off – - the boys’ are going for 2nd place on the ladder. A remarkable turnaround from the first half of the year and well deserved

3:15pm: 1st Grade kick off – - do or die for the semi finals. Hang around for what will be an absolute corker of a game

Plenty happening tomorrow. Beer, wine, champagne, bbq, meat trays – - what a great way to end the regular season out at the Kingdome. See you tomorrow.

The exact kick-off time is still to be determined, though it is likely to be either 12:15pm or 2:50pm. I am trying to get two teams confirmed by Thursday 23 August. If we are short of players, the balance will be made up by 5th and 4th grade players.

We intend to play a game of 15 minute halves, with 5 minutes break to catch your breath… or maybe have a beer or two. This may be reduced on the day, given a popular consensus.

Anyhow, please email me back on this address Peter Whittington if you are keen to play. Alternatively, call me on 0419 495 845 and I will put your name down on the list.

It is a big weekend for the club this week. We have secured second place in the club championship, our Colt’s are fighting for a semi-final spot, 3rds have taken the minor premiership, our 2nd’s are playing for 2nd spot on the ladder, and our 1sts are playing for a spot in the semi’s – - the first time 1′s have been in the semi’s since 2003.

Please come out and join us at King’s with your friends and family for what will be a great day for the club as we take on St Ives.

With the finals only a week away and plenty of work to do between now and then its a good opportunity to shake off some aches and pains from a good physical hit out against Newport.

St Ives won’t be easy either and we need to keep the momentum going for the weeks ahead.

Great results on the weekend lads and 2nd on the Club Championship – top work.  Now we’ve got premierships to win.

See you there tomorrow.  Please let me know if you will be there so I can start planning drills.

All teams tried hard with the result being we secured second on the club championship table – and a 3rd Grade a Minor Premiership. An awesome effort seeing as in 2005 we were nearly relegated back to 3rd division.

There will be around 1400000 anglophones coming to France during the period of the World Cup. For these supporters, we have created a website called Sheer Beer. Our site indicates where the best bars are all over France.

17|08|07

Newport can take a while to get to so leave early and allow plenty of time.

As a result, we have booked McKay Oval at Centennial Park (where we held Ladies Day). I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, though in theory the ground should be reasonably close to the bulk of our playing base.

Please let your mates know who may not be on email. Usual kick-off times apply.

This is a good opportunity for us to get plenty of supporters down to the game to help us over the line against a strong Briars outfit. With only 3 weeks of competition to go, with all teams bar 4th grade in with a shot at final’s glory, it is imperative that you attend training as we face 3 tough weeks of rugby.

Lindfield want to put on a exhibition kids’ game between 2nd and 1st grade. To accommodate this we have agreed to start Colts, 4ths, 3rds and 2nds 15 minutes earlier. Revised start times below.
