Ladies Day

It looks like a shower or 2 tonight before clearing for a cracker of a Ladies Day. Spread it far and wide – we have speant considerable amount of money on Free champagne for the Ladies and we need to make sure it is all worthwhile.

If you have not let Tom Smith know what raffle prize you have organised or are donating do it now. The raffle is how we will cover the costs of the day and you need to sort a prize out to support your club.

If you can’t get something donated go and buy a $30 bottle of wine an bring it along.

Registration

We need every player to be registered before you take the field this weekend. If you have not registered make sure you do so by folloing the instructions below before Friday 5pm.

Fees – If you have not paid by Saturday June 14th you will not be selected. It is not fair on your mates if you have not paid fees and they have. Pull your wallet out of your pocket and sort it out this week if you have not paid. If you have joined the club mid season talk to Peter Whittington about a discount on the fees.

As mentioned at training last night, start times for this Saturday have been revised in support of Hornsby’s “Andy Warner Memorial Back To Hornsby Day”. This is a big day for Hornsby and they will be strong.

Revised start times are as follows – basically it’s 15 minutes earlier for everyone except 1st grade. An U/6’s match will be played prior to 1st Grade, along with a minutes silence.

Colts – 10:30am

4ths – 11:45am

3rds – 12:40pm

2nds – 1:45pm

1sts – 3:15pm

Training tonight and all games this Saturday have been washed out. Matches will now be played on Saturday 26th July.

Remember Team Dinners next Wednesday Night.

A lot of our Colts are playing footy tomorrow night for their college’s at Sydney University. Entry is $4 as apparently they are building a mini-grandstand or something. Cheap beer and rum will be supplied too!

Andrew’s vs John’s starts at 5:30pm (3rd vs 4th)

Paul’s vs Wesley starts at 7:30pm (1st vs 2nd for the title)

Both matches are being played on St Andrew’s oval under lights. I know that you are all very busy, but if you have some spare time it would be great if you could come down to the ground and support some of our young guys who are running around.

Just to confirm my email from last week, we will be having team dinners next Wednesday night which will coincide with watching the 2nd State of Origin match from Brisbane at the Royal Oak Hotel in Double Bay.

Please let either myself, or the people nominated below for each team, know if you will be attending the dinners so we can start finalising bookings and table numbers for next week.
