  • Your ticket price includes all you can drink beer, wine and champagne from 7pm to 11pm and some light cocktail food.
  • The DJ is Mike B (Frantic, Henry Afrika’s) and he will have Jaycee playing Sax and singing along with him.  I saw these guys play on Saturday night and they are exceptional.
  • The venue is open until 5am so you will not have to leave the venue until the sun is starting to come up.
  • Ticket sales are going well to date and we will probably end up with about 200 there.

Due to June 30 celebrations tonight, a decision has been made to call off training tonight. Please make an extra effort to make it to training on Thursday and build on the strong performances across the club of late. It was obviously a very good day for the club on Saturday, with some fantastic wins in 1′s, 2′s and Colts. Very important Club Championship Points against the defending chamipons. Well done to all!!

Gents,

Wentworth Park is closed yet again. The lights will be off and no one will be home! We have tried to secure a number of alternative venues but to no avail.

Please use the opportunity to do your own sort of training tonight – i.e. go for a run or something. That would almost seem funny  if we hadn’t have missed so many training sessions of late. Use the time productively please!

Teams and match times will be sent by email tomorrow and times will also be posted on the web.

Come Saturday, please get to King’s early for extended warm-ups in preparation for a big weekend vs Drummoyne.

Confirming that footy is on at Forest this Saturday. If there is any change to this, we will let you know ASAP in the morning.

Check this website, if you can, before you leave home if you have any doubts – we will also endevour to SMS everyone if there is a change, but use the website as your first point of call.

Training is off tonight – the grounds are closed.

This means that you will need to get to the games on Saturday earlier than usual to have extended warm-ups etc to get everything right for a big day on Saturday.

Match times and venue details are on the website – www.kobweb.org.au – teams will be posted on there tomorrow (Friday).

For those who haven’t yet payed their subs, registered, or entered into a payment plan with the club – don’t expect a game this weekend. At the minimum, we will accept a cash payment of $20 before you run onto the field this weekend, then the same will apply the following week and beyond until you pay the club what you owe us – we are not a charity!!

Due to Rawson Oval being closed this weekend because of wet weather, as well as alternative grounds being unavailable, we have had to postpone this weekends fixtures for 3rds, 4ths, 5ths and Colts.

It is hoped we can make these matches up ASAP, possibly playing matches mid-week under lights at Mosman in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
