Hi all,

Big day for KOB’s this Saturday vs Old Iggies – gear up for some hard fought rugby, then a great night at the Cocktail Party afterwards.

These matches are significant for both clubs in terms of club championship points, so please make yourself available for as much of the day as possible to support and reserve for teams. The matches are being played at Ryde Oval.

1st Grade – 3:15pm

2nd Grade – 2:00pm

Colts – 12:45pm

3rds – 11:40am

4ths – 10:45am

5ths – 9:50am

We’re back at the Kingdome this week for a big round of fixtures versus Campbelltown. Immediately following 1st grade, the Bledisloe will be shown on the big screen in the shack. We’ll have the open fire roaring, $3 beers and complimentary sausage sandwiches on the BBQ, so hang around for what is always a great night.

Match times and venues are as follows…

1st grade – 3:15pm (Kingdome)

2nd grade – 2:00pm (Kingdome)

3rd grade – 12:55pm (Kingdome)

4th grade – 1:00pm (Doyle 7)

5th grade – 12:05pm (Doyle 7)

Colts – 11:40am (Kingdome)

Sorry guys – matches versus Forest (11th July) have been called off at the last minute due to wet weather.

Matches will be played on the 8th August.

Hi guys,

Wentworth Park is again closed as a gentle mist is hovering above the ground and council is scared we will damage their pristine oval… For those that missed it earlier, the 3rd and 4th grade matches versus Mosman are also postponed till next Thursday night.

We tried to get alternative facilities tonight but again to no avail – this includes training with Sydney Uni. I apologise for the disrupted training schedule of recent weeks, but it really is out of our control. You, however, can take control by going for a run when you get home and making up for the lost team session in some way.

Matches this weekend are against Forest. Their oval is Melwood Oval, Forestville, which is on Melwood Avenue. Teams will be circulated tomorrow. Good luck to all teams this weekend. Times are as follows…

Hi all,

Congratulations to you all – particularly 1st Grade and Colts – on some fantastic wins over the past couple of weekends. The enthusiasm, commitment and quality has been lifted a notch when we needed to and some rewards have come our way.

It’s no secret we need to keep it going to survive our first year back in Kentwell for some 30 years. If we keep turning up to training, keep focussed and keep supporting each other, we’ll give oursleves a good chance.

This week will be disrupted again with some midweek games for 3rds and 4ths, but no matter – everyone will be together on Saturday at Forest for what will no doubt be tough fixtures in every grade. Forest are a good club and going well this year – it will be a challenge but I reckon we’re up for it!

I look forward to seeing you all during the week and on Saturday.
